y ministro de este pueblo de Cagsaua de esta
provincia de Camarines, de como habiendo recibido Don Bernabe
Siam, gobernador actual de los naturales de este dicho pueblo un mandamiento
del alcalde mayor en que se le manda publicase e hiciese publicar
un trasunto en lengua del país, que según su contenido parece
ser de una orden del superior gobierno de estas yslas en
que se manda hacer en esta provincia compra de quatro mil
chinantas de abacá [a] dos reales y dos mil gantas de aceite
de coco a medio real entre los naturales, que pueden
dar este presente año para provisión de los reales almacenes
de la ciudad de Manila, la qual orden es fecha en Manila
a veinte y tres de agosto pasado de este año y hoy de la
fecha, hizo leer dicho gobernador en la iglesia de este pueblo en voz
alta, por medio de su escribano y en concurso de los más
principales y naturales de el, acabados los oficios divinos, y se fijo
un tanto de dicho trasunto dicha orden en la puerta de esta
dicha iglesia y para que conste donde convenga [di] esta pueblo
de Cagsaua en veinte y ocho de noviembre de de mil setecientos y
quatro años.

I certify that I, Fray Francisco de San Juan Evangelista, preacher
and minister of this pueblo of Cagsaua in this
province of Camarines, that having received Don Bernabe
Siam, the current governor of the locals of this said pueblo, a mandate

to be an order from the superior government of these islands,
ordering the purchase in this province of four thousand
chinantas of abaca at two reales and two thousand gantas of coconut oil
