Fray Francisco de Villamiel, religioso de la sagrada
orden de mi seráfico padre San Francisco, su guardián de este convento
del pueblo de Buhi y ministro doctrinero de los naturales de él,
certifico a los señores que la presente vieren de con beneplácito
mío. El gobernador de este pueblo por medio de su escribiente leyó y puso
un trasunto en la lengua bicol de orden de
superior gobernador sobre que el alcalde mayor, capitán Don Juan Esteban
de Encinas que lo es de esta provincia de Camarines compre entre
los naturales de ella, cuatro mil chintas de abaca y dos mil
de aceite de cocos y que se pague en table y mano propia a los
dueños que dieren y demás circunstancias que contiene dicho orden
cuyo lado se fijó en el tribunal por ser la parte más puesta y así lo
certificó por ser la verdad haber hecho dicha publicación en un
día festivo en concurso de muchos naturales de este pueblo acabado
los oficios divinos y lo firme en este pueblo de Buhi en
veinte seis días del mes de noviembre de mil setecientos y cuatro años.

certify to the gentlemen who may see this present document with my approval
The governor of this pueblo through his scribe read and placed
a transcript in the Bicol language by order of
superior governor that the mayor, war captain Don Juan
de Encinas who is of this Province of Camarines, to buy from
the natives, our thousand chintas of abaca and two thousand
of coconut oil and that the payment be made in person to the
owners who provide it and other circumstances contained in said order.
This order was placed in the tribunal in the most visible area and it was
certified that it was true that it was published on a
festive day when many of the natives of this pueblo [saw it] after
attending their divine duties. And I signed it in this Pueblo of Buhi on
the twenty sixth of the month of November of the year a thousand an four.
