- Folio 140-145 / These leaves seem to be bound in the wrong order. They are two autograph letters concerning his abortive voyage to Japan, written from Siam in 1679 by Fray Juan de Nicolás Rivera, O.E.S.A., to Fray Álvaro de Benavente. Fl. 140 seems to be the end of the first letter and should come after fl. 144; fl. 145 breaks off in mid sentence and is presumably unfinished.
