He recibido su dilatada carta de vuestra reverendísima, y
considerando muy [aspacio] su contenido, discurro
que todo el remedio que puedo poner
ha de parar en que lo padezcan estos miserables
indios. Y así recurriré a quien me prevenga
la verdadera inteligencia del concilio,
aun siendo tan expresas sus cláusulas
como a quien pueda poner todo el consuelo,
que tanto deseo, como el que nuestro señor
guarde a vuestra reverendísima los dilatados años que le suplico.
Manila, y abril 4 del 1698 años.
