Noticias de China de 1716
This is an account of the arrival of Apostolic constitution to China in 1716. It relates how the bishop of Peking sent his vicar Father Carlos Castorano to inform the Fathers of the Company [Jesuits] of it and request oaths. It includes the partial copies of letters from a number of Jesuits with news that came via Perú, regarding France and Spain, as well as a letter from the French Superior of the Jesuits in Pekin, Father Cirico Contanein. This text is in the volume with the title "PERTENECE AL/Aparador fuera de la Pared/Cajón/Númber 4/ITALONES Y CHINA/Legajos 1. /2./ 3./ 4./ 5. The volume was compiled by Pedro Orense.
