- Closely written in double column of 48 pp., started in Xao-king-fu [Chao-Ch'ing-fu] and finished at Manila 1 November 1685, as attested by Fray Álvaro de Benavente, titular Bishop of Ascalon, with his autograph signature at the end. This long, detailed, and important narrative of the Augustinian missions in China during the years 1680-86, is presumably still unpublished. cf. Santiago Vela, Ensayo, I, p.363, Np. 16.
